DominicanToday.com - The president of the Dominican Lawyers Guild affirmed Friday that more than 3,000 people pose as attorneys and practice Law with bogus licenses, and vowed to take them to court.
The lawyer Diego Jose Garcia, interviewed by news source diariolibre.com, also affirmed that all the members of the Guild’s previous tenure involved in the issuing of fake documents will be charged.
He said an investigation uncovered many ID cards of deceased attorneys who still figure as active, and are being “unscrupulously” used by other people.
Garcia speaking prior to attending the 5th Lawyers’ Guild National Council in the hotel Clarion, said he’ll hold a press conference in the next few days to reveal the details and all the names that surfaced in the investigation. |
