The official’s complaint is the latest in a series of accusations and counteraccusations between cabinet officials of president Leonel Fernandez’s Administration.

Feliz said 20 houses and vehicles are in the hands of those officials, which she didn’t name, and complained that when requested, they are returned neither in such depressing conditions that they are of no use or even sellable.

Felix criticized the Justice Ministry, headed by Radhames Jimenez, for allegedly retaining the 4.5 million dollars seized from the Puerto Rican kingpin Jose Figueroa Agosto, adding that the Money Laundering Committee has yet to receive even the interests.

The allegation comes just one day after Cabinet Minister without function Miguel Mejia criticized the energy czar Celso Marranzini, calling his tenure a “failure.”
