New York.- National District Prosecutor Alejandro Moscoso met today with Manhattan, New York District Attorney Cyrus Vance, to review the joint efforts of their offices.
Vance, who was elected to the post in November, stated his interest in working closely with his Santo Domingo par on all cases related to both jurisdictions. "The doors of the NY District Attorney’s Office are open for all the cooperation and aid the Santo Domingo Office of the Prosecutor may need."
Moscoso hailed the District Attorney’s openness and affability and the strong relations between both agencies, “which are going to be even stronger during the tenure of the new Prosecutor, Cyrus Vance."
The officials are slated to head on Thursday night the first community meeting with the mostly Dominican community of Washington Heights, the first ever attended NYC District Attorney, who wishes to thank them for supporting his bid for office.
