DominicanToday.com - Activities in the Las Americas International Airport began to get back to normal today as workers try to fix the energy system which failed Saturday night, and some areas in the South terminal are still without power, including the central security checkpoint.
On Monday morning passengers made normal lines to check in and board flights without delay to New York, Miami and San Juan among other destinations.
Since early morning Power Company and Airport technicians resumed the repair work on the power system which supplies energy, while businesses were open with backup units brought on line, including a plant brought on a flat bed truck.
