DominicanToday.com – A tremor of 4.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale shook the country’s East region at 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, the second moderate tremor registered in the last week, with no injuries or damages reported.
The University of Puerto Rico Seismological Network said the tremor’s epicenter was located 38 kilometers east of Higüey and 145 from Santo Domingo, at a depth of 133 kilometers.
The U.S. Geodetic Survey reports the tremor’s coordinates at 18.765° North Latitude by 68.747° West Longitude.
