Corruption tell-all: Woman of the Year
DR1 - Dominicans have chosen Nuria Piera, the TV journalist who exposed several government corruption scandals in 2009, as Diario Libre`s Woman of the Year.

The jurors were Adriano Miguel Tejada of Dario Libre, Culture Minister Jose Rafael Lantigua, Rector of the Catholic University of Santo Domingo Ramon Alonso, journalist Ines Aizpun of Diario Libre, Melba Segura de Grullon and Marcos Diaz, woman and man of the year 2006. The winner receive recognitions in the newspaper and a trophy.
