Passengers are being advised to contact their travel agent after Skyservice announced this morning (weds) that it has gone into receivership. In fact, a flight leaving Canada for the Dominican Republic was already cancelled today.
Cynthia Wong, Manager of CAA Travel on 1st Avenue, says it caught them by surprise and she adds that it's a huge loss to the industry because they've been using Skyservice for many years with good flights, direct from Saskatoon.
Wong says the company will work with Sunquest to provide alternate travel arrangements. She also says those customers affected are flying out of Winnipeg and Toronto, and should be contacted by the end of today. Saskatoon flights with Skyservice are over for the winter. (vmf Mar 31/10)
